Partnerships for Children is a wonderful organization based in Austin, Texas, on a mission to empower and support abused and neglected children in the care of Child Protective Services. They came to us with a small budget in need of a brand refresh from a messaging and design standpoint.
We started the project with a brand workshop with PFC’s key stakeholders and board members. We did several exercises to really understand their audience, their needs and what they really like and didn’t like from a visual standpoint.
The result was a friendly logo and comprehensive messaging including positioning statement, voice and tone as well as foundational attributes and message map. We also gave them a color palette, font suggestions and a mood board that could help inform the design for new digital and collateral materials. We also gave them recommendations on how to redesign the logos of their programs to make their branding more consistent.
